KAPASITAS LENTUR BALOK BETON BERTULANG BERLUBANG LINGKARAN DENGAN DETAILLING PERKUATAN DI DAERAH TARIK
In multi-story buildings, water pipes, sewage systems, AC installations, electrical wiring, telephone lines, and computer networks are placed are below the beams, which reduces the effective elevation height of the ceiling. One alternative plan to route the plumbing installations above the beams is by creating openings in the beams. These openings are detailed with reinforcements in the tension to increase the strength of the beams. The testing conducted focused on the flexural behavior of the beams with simple supports. The test specimens were concrete beams measuring (10 x 15 x 100) cm. the research involved variations in the number and placement of openings the tensions regions, referred to as: Beam with one openings in tension region (BBTE1), beam with two opening in the compression region (BBTE2), beam with one opening in the tension region (BBTA1), beam with two openings in the tension region (BBTA2), and beam without openings (BN). The results showed that the beam capacity increased due to presence of opening in the tension region. In percentage terms, when compared to the control beam, the increase in flexural capacity for BBTE was 13% for BBTE was 4.425% for BBTA was 6,667% and for BBTA was 5,607%.
